Cosmosis is a clothing brand influenced by 90’s rave culture and flyer graphics. The name captures the fluid, collaborative, and positive nature of rave culture as a combination of cosmos, “the universe seen as a well ordered whole,” and osmosis, “the process of gradual or unconscious assimilation of ideas, knowledge, etc.” In my designs, I took inspiration from the experimentation and DIY spirit of rave flyers, exploring their ephemeral quality and what it means to be a transient being.
